The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Australia (AOPA Australia) is calling on members and industry supporters who have complied with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s AD/GENERAL/87 (mandatory control cable replacement) to register their details with the association.

AOPA Australia is currently compiling a database of owners who have replaced control cables, so as to determine the cost impact of AD/GENERAL/87 on the general aviation industry. A report will be published with respect to the findings.
