AOPA Funflight Sydney Bankstown 2019 and Major Sponsor Sydney Metro Airports Bankstown is excited to announce a huge day for children and families at Bankstown Airport Terminal on Saturday 27th July.
FunFlight brings together disadvantaged children and gives them and their families an experience of a life time – a flight in a light aircraft.
AOPA Funflight 2019 marks the event’s 3rd year in Bankstown and this year we’re making it bigger and better than ever before.
We are looking for volunteers to be:
- Pilots to take kids for a fly (minimum license is PPL with 250 hrs in command*)
- Escort kids to and from aircraft
- Check-in kids and parents
- Take a turn at the barbecue
- Supervise attractions e.g. jumping castle
- Various other jobs.

*Note:
In some circumstances pilots with 200–250 hours in command may also be considered. If you feel you have exceptional experience or qualifications but less than 250 hours in command, please register a member of the team will contact you to gather further information.
Aircraft needs a minimum of 4 seats capability and VH registration.
