The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Australia (AOPA Australia) acknowledges the 6th July 2019 media release by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority [‘CASA’] confirming they have no current issues with the safety of Regional Express (REX).

AOPA Australia is pleased that CASA have acted promptly in responding to reports in the media concerning claims made by the Australian Licensed Aircraft Engineers Association (ALAEA), and that following a two day audit CASA has no current safety concerns with the airline, providing clear assurance for both industry and the traveling public.
