Airservices Australia have rolled out the first set of online weather cameras that allow pilots to see what the weather is doing at critical locations across Australia in real time.

The first available are located at Archerfield Airport, Kilmore Gap, Kingscote Airfield, Launceston Airport, Norfolk Island Airport and Parafield Airport. Airservices CEO Jason Harfield said more will be made available in coming months.

The portal was made possible after Dick Smith donated $160,000 to Airservices after selling his Citation Jet.

The cameras can be found at the Airservices Australia website.
