The team have been hard at work again making further progress on the Cessna 152 Aerobat VH-KKU.

The rudder pedal assemblies have now been removed, in preparation for a detailed SIDS inspection. Once completed the entire assembly will be fully paint stripped and resprayed in gloss black prior to being reinstalled.

With the rudder pedal assembly removed, we now have access to perform a thorough clean up of the forward lower fuselage, which has collected a significant amount of oil, debris and contaminants.

We have also taken the opportunity to remove the left and right brake master cylinders, which will both be overhauled.

Many thanks to SAAA President Tony White for giving the team a hand this weekend. Further thanks to AOPA Australia Vice President Richard Talbot and AOPA members Peter Morgan, Ashley Raphael, Karsten Gerarde-Smith and Greg Nugent.
