Nextant Pacific has delivered the first King Air 250, equipped with the revolutionary Collins Fusion flight deck, to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The aircraft was acquired for the iconic Australian aeromedical provider and will initially be based in Sydney, Australia.  It will join the already substantial aeromedical and primary healthcare fleet operated by RFDS.  The aircraft will operate throughout NSW providing clinic runs to regional, rural and remote locations.

“The aeromedical business is a key focus area for Nextant Pacific, so we are delighted that the RFDS have chosen to partner with us for their important work.” said Nextant Pacific Managing Director John Oppenheim.

“We have chosen to specialise in the acquisition, sales and brokerage of the King Air aircraft. We were confident from our first meetings with the RFDS that we could add value and save costs for them when it comes to purchasing the Beechcraft King Air product.”

Nextant Pacific not only was able to secure the aircraft for the RFDS, but were able to provide a turnkey solution for the import of the aircraft, the ferry flight and also the placement of it on the VH register.
