The Hangar House is a unique aviation-themed boutique hotel located within metres of the airfield at Mudgee. Upon landing, Gary and Kaye invite you to taxi right up to the property, where they will hangar your aircraft for the duration of your stay.

The accommodation is a one of a kind, combining the buzz of the aviation industry with the relaxation of luxury.  Each one of the six bedrooms and suites at Hangar House has an air of sophistication, with an aviation theme. The design combines the adaptation of the new and bespoke rooms with the touch of old and traditional, with each offering reverse cycle air conditioning and a beautiful outdoor space.

The Hangar House has been thoughtfully appointed for the most discerning of travellers. Five guest suites or rooms offer the peacefulness of rural Mudgee, with luxury furnishings and spectacular decorations. The shared space on the ground floor offers an intimate lounge area with gas fireplace, a table with room for up to 12 to enjoy a privately catered dinner and an informal lounge area for relaxation with a local wine while enjoying the peace of the countryside.

The hangar provides the point of difference with striking curved beams spanning an area suitable to park 4-5 light aircraft or many more restored cars.  The space provides a myriad of opportunities to create the specialised space you are seeking for your event.

AOPA Australia’s Executive Director, Ben Morgan says, “This offer is exactly in the spirit of AOPA. One of our long term members has purchased the brilliant Hangar House in Mudgee and is now happy to share his excitement with the rest of us, by way of offering a very generous discount. Hangar House is a unique property, perfect for small group flyaways, or a romantic weekend in the wineries.”

To utilise the offer, please book directly through the Hangar House website. Just mention your AOPA Australia membership when booking.
