Over the past three weeks the Rolls Royce-Continental 0-240A 130hp engine has been totally dismantled in preparation for overhaul.

Today the four cylinders and the engine case were delivered to CG Engineering, located at Chipping Norton in NSW, to be cleaned, inspected and overhauled. Stay tuned for updates as we follow this process in AOPA PILOT AUSTRALIA magazine.

Meanwhile, both the crankshaft and camshaft have been sent to Aircraft Specialty in the United States, where they will be inspected and overhauled.

We expect these components back early January 2019.
