The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Australia is excited to announce the launch of our new Members Club Aircraft, with our first Cessna 172N now available to members for just $125 per hour dry!

The Members Club Aircraft program is a joint initiative between the AOPA Australia and Orange Aero Engineering, aimed at providing AOPA Australia members with access to affordable aircraft nationwide.
Our first aircraft is now available from our head-office location at Bankstown Airport, with further aircraft and locations to be announced soon.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to be an AOPA Australia member to hire?  YES, Members Club Aircraft are only available to current and financial members of the AOPA Australia. If you’re not already a member, you can join online from just $129 annually: www.aopa.com.au/membership

If I am an AOPA Australia member visiting from interstate, can I hire?  YES, as an AOPA Australia member you are welcome to hire.

Can I hire the aircraft as a student pilot?  NO, the AOPA Australia Members Club Aircraft are only available to holders of an RPL, PPL and higher. Student pilots are NOT permitted.

Are the aircraft professionally maintained?  YES, the AOPA Australia Members Club Aircraft are maintained by the team at Orange Aero Engineering.

Are the aircraft insured?  YES, the AOPA Australia Members Club Aircraft are insured through AvCover Aviation Insurance.
