Merimbula Christmas Lunch

AOPA members, family and friends are invited to the final AOPA Flying Event for 2019 – a Christmas Lunch at the Merimbula Aquarium Wharf Restaurant, Merimbula to be held on December 14 2019. Make it a day trip or combine it with a visit for a few days.
The Merimbula Aquarium Wharf Restaurant has fantastic setting overlooking the coastline, lake and boat channel, along with its excellent cusine which includes local seafood and oysters. More information on the Wharf Restaurant can be found at

Pilot and passengers will enjoy the flight to Merimbula, and can more or less follow the south coast with its rugged coastline, pristine beaches and the clear blue adjoining ocean. A return flight can comfortably be done in a day in Piper Warrior or Cessna 172 type aircraft from Sydney as Bankstown to Merimbula is 187 nautical miles direct.
