Lilydale, Friday 22 to Sunday November 24, 2019

AOPA Australia members, family and friends are invited to the AOPA Australia Flying Event for November 2019 – the Lilydale Air Show to be held at Lilydale in the Yarra Valley from Friday 22 to Sunday November 24.

If there for the weekend, the Saturday can be spent wine tasting at several of the Yarra Valley’s top vineyards, along enjoying several gourmet delights before ending back at Lilydale airfield for a hangar dinner.  The AOPA Australia Bus will provide transport for participants staying overnight Saturday as well as pick-up on Sunday morning timed to arrive for commencement of the Air Show.

Lilydale is 355 nautical miles direct from Bankstown, which can comfortably be done in a day with Piper Warrior or Cessna 172 type aircraft.

Details on accommodation will be provided early November – but budget around $400 per person excluding drinks, for accommodation, wine tasting, hangar dinner, air show dinner and coach transport.
